Not Me! Monday

Time for another Not Me, Monday! In this post, I'll be confessing all of the things I did not do this week. Along with some of the things that my family did not do as well. If you'd like to play along, just check out MckMama's for the official rules. (I don't know why I can't get the logo to copy, but you can find it in my sidebar.)

To start off with, I did not spend time at the zoo with my 2sc, my parents and my Uncle Terry. While not at the zoo, Terry did not wait somewhat impatiently to see the snakes. And after not seeing the snakes did not proclaim that the only thing he wanted to see were the elephants. And after not seeing the elephants did not mention that all he wanted to see were the lions. And after not seeing the lions on our way out, he did not announce that all he wanted to see was the bears. He was not a little dissappointed that the bears weren't one of our stops.

My children and I were not totally exhausted after 2 hours at the zoo.

Last week I did not meet with the surgeon about my hernia. I do not have surger scheduled for next Monday. I am not totally dreading it because of the fact that I can't eat or drink ANYTHING after 5am and my surgery is not until 4:00pm. I was also not ticked when they called me today to schedule for me to come in this Wednesday to have pre-op labs done. Don't you think maybe they should have mentioned this at the initial visit when we scheduled the surgery? Not to mention I have to be at the hospital 2 and a half hours prior to my surgery. I do not have better things to do with my time.

Last week I did not follow my toddler around with a camera to capture him and his best friend on camera so that I could blog about him. That seems rather silly doesn't it?

My husband has not decided that he will not be running in the previously announced half marathon. His knees are not so bad that chasing our toddler across the yard caused him to complain for 2 days. Her is not extremely bummed about this.

And lastly, I did not make 3 super cute scarfs this week to sell in my etsy store (which is not yet, but will soon be up and running). I did not decide that this would be a much easier way to sell things. My wise cousin, Hannah, had nothing to do with this decision. At this point I do not plan to continue posting photos of my work on my crochet blog as well.

Not Me! Monday

It's Monday once again. Time to confess all the things I did not do this past week. If you have something you're feeling guilty about and would like to confess, join in the Monday madness by going to MckMama's blog and checking out the official rules.

This past week I have not been so obsessed with cleaning my house that I neglected my children at any point. I did not leave my children to play happily alone so that I could sweep, dust, vacuum, or pick up toys. I am not super psyched that my bedroom has been clean with a made bed for 5 whole days. My husband did not make the bed 2 of those days and I am not proud of him.

I have not been so tired the last few days that I fell asleep rocking Ronan while Collin ran around being crazy. I would never do that. I do not think that getting up to feed Ronan 2-3 times a night, or getting up at 6:30 every morning to work out, has anything to do with it. I have not been motivated to exercise by my super awesome husband who is not decidedly training to run a half marathon in September, or by the fact that I currently do not hate my body. No way. I love my flabby stomach and the way my butt has an extra ripple under it. I do not think that after 4 months my body should look better.

Speaking of 4 months, my sweet baby Ronan is not now 4 months old. *sigh* We did not go in for his well baby check up, and he did not weigh 15lbs 6oz and was not 24 3/4 inches long. This is not close to Collins stats at 8 months.

I do not wish I had pictures of my sweet baby to post, but I have not been too lazy to take pictures.

That is not all I have. Do not have a nice day!

Not Me! Monday

It's Monday again! Time to confess all of the things that you did not do this week! For the official rules to Not Me! Monday, head over to MckMama's. She is responsible for all this fun!

First of all, I did not post 3 times today. That would be crazy. One post per day please!

Let's see. Last week we did a garage sale at my parents' house. We made about $100 and decided that we could each spend a little. I wanted to buy shorts because I still don't fit into most of my clothes. So we went to Khol's and I was ready to spend my $42. I found a swim suit and some shorts but knew that I didn't have enough. I told my husband that I needed to decide what I wanted more because getting both would cost too much. I did not do this knowing good and well that my husband would respond with "it's okay honey, you can get both". That would be wrong. I would never use my husbands loving and giving nature for my own good. Not me!

I have not recently started to follow Fly Lady to help keep my house clean. I do not have such a hard time keeping my house organized that I began to feel panicked and anxious about it this past week. That would kind of make me a nut case right?

I also have not started a 2nd blog for my crochet "business". I did not start this with much anticipation and doubt know that at this point I do not have anything to sell. Only pictures of items that I have made for others. I am not still wondering if it will be worth the effort. You can not find a link to this blog in my side bar.

Not Me! Monday

Time to confess the things I did not do this past week!

At no point during this past week was I attacked by frozen breast milk. Nope. A 5oz container did not fall out of the freezer and land right on my big toe making it difficult for me to walk for the next 10 minutes. My freezer is not so full of milk that I fear this happening in the future, and I am not totally proud of the supply I have.

I did not snap this photo to show off some of what I've accumulated.
I also did not add up the amount of milk in my freezer to discover that I have nearly 100 oz. Nope. That would be silly. I mean, I only have 2 weeks of work left. What does it matter how much is in my freezer?

We have always had a strict schedule with Collin when it comes to his bed time. At 8:00pm every night, give or take 5 minutes, you can bet one of us, usually Dan, is laying Collin down in his bed. My parents have always given us a lot of grief about this. This Saturday we went to a BBQ at Dan's brother's house and did not let Collin stay up nearly 2 hours past his bed time. Definitely not. If so we would never hear the end of it.

I have not been doing a lot of thinking about ways to make extra money, and I am not contemplating selling Avon on the side next year. I also am not planning on starting my own crochet business, so don't be looking for a new blog that showcases my work. I don't have a name for my business yet, and I am not thinking about using Fuzzy Hugs, as it was a vision I had with a former friend of mine in college. Any thoughts?

Last Wednesday I did not find out that my best friend is pregnant and I am not totally thrilled for her. I do not absolutely love this girl!

Not Me! Monday

It's that time again. Time to be honest about all the things I didn't do this past week.

Click on the Not Me! Monday picture to check out the rules and visit McMama's page. She's the amazing lady who created this fabulous carnival.

Last Wednesday was gorgeous! A perfect day to take 22 pre-schoolers to the zoo. Being the fair-skinned red-head that I am, I always use sunscreen. I did not get a nice sunburn on our 4 hour field trip to the zoo. I am smart enough to put on sunscreen before the end of the day. Especially after preaching to all the parents about the importance of puting sun block on their kids.

This past week I most definitely did not back into my husbands car as Collin and I were heading to Target. I did not forget to check my mirror assuming that my car was in the back like usual. No. That would be stupid. I surely did not do this. And after not doing this, there was not a nice mark on the front bumper. Nope. Because this didn't happen.

And because I know you all want some insight into the world of teaching preschool special education: Today, I did not have a student poop his pants and wipe it on the classroom walls. He did not have poop up to his elbows and I did not leave my para to clean it up because I was "busy" with a small group. Nope. This most definitely did not happen.

Have I mentioned that I'm quitting? Would anyone like my job?

Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I've been following MckMama's blog for about a month now and have decided that it's time I join in the "not me" fun. So here it goes!

Today I started back to work after 10 glorious weeks of maternity leave. I loved every second that I got to spend with my boys and did not at any point secretly wish that swine flu would break out at my school prior to my return allowing me another solid week with my children. Nope. Not Me! I mean, after all, I only have 4 weeks left and then I'm done. I mean done, done! Never going back. Sure I'll miss the people I work with, but I will never look back. Getting to be a stay at home mom will be the greatest adventure ever.

Upon my return today I most definitely did not forget the names of any of my 47 students. What kind of a teacher would do that?

Only 18 days of school left, and only 14 days with students. But I am most definitely not counting!
